Boutique Sophie UG (limited liabilty), Brombeerweg 51, D-22339 Hamburg

on this website (hereinafter referred to as "Offering").

The fundamental legal principles of data protection can be found in the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data / Server log files

The Supplier (or the Supplier's web space provider) collects data every time the Offering is accessed (so-called server log files). The access data include the following:

Name of the visited website, file, date and time of visit, data volume transferred, message about successful accessing, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the website previously visited), IP address and enquiring provider.

The Supplier only uses these log data for statistical evaluation for the purpose of operation, security and Offering optimisation. However, the Supplier reserves the right to check the log data at a later stage if specific indications give rise to reasonable suspicion of illegal use.

Handling personal data

Personal data denotes information that can be used to identify an individual, i.e. details that can be traced back to an individual. This includes the name, e-mail address or telephone number. However, data relating to preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites a person has viewed are also deemed to be personal data.

Personal data are only gathered, utilised and passed on by the Supplier if this is legally permissible or if users have agreed to such collection of data.

Contacting the supplier

When the Supplier is contacted (for instance via a contact form or e-mail), the details provided by the user are stored for the purpose of dealing with the enquiry in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Newsletter

Our newsletter gives you information about us and our offerings

If you would like to receive the newsletter, we will require a valid e-mail address for you as well as information that allows us to check that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address or that the owner of the address agrees to receiving the newsletter. No further data are collected. This data is only used for sending out the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, your IP address and the date of registration (subscription) are stored. This storage of data is solely designed to provide evidence in the event that a third party abuses an e-mail address and subscribes to a newsletter without the authorised person's knowledge.

You can, at any time, revoke your agreement to storage of the data, the e-mail address and the use thereof for sending out the newsletter. Revocation can be carried out via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message via one of the contact options above.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that allow specific, device-related information to be stored on a user's access device (PC, smartphone or similar). On the one hand they are used to make websites more user-friendly and therefore assist the user (e.g. by storing login details). On the other hand they are used to collect statistical data on website use for analysis and improvement of the Offering. Users can influence how cookies are used. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent cookies from being saved. However, it must be pointed out that the use and particularly the convenience of using a website is limited without cookies.

You can manage many of the online advertising cookies from companies via the US website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ .

Registration function

The data entered when you register will be used for the purpose of using the Offering. Users may be sent e-mails with information relevant to the Offering or registration, such as changes to the scope of the Offering or technical circumstances. The data collected can be viewed in the input mask that is shown during registration. These include the name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number and date of birth.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

This Offering utilises Social Plugins ("Plugins") associated with the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The Plugins are identified by a Facebook logo (a white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or by the additional wording "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

. When a user opens a website of this Offering that contains such a Plugin, the user's browser will establish a direct link to Facebook servers. The Plugin contents are transferred directly from Facebook to the user's browser and embedded in the website by the browser. The Supplier therefore has no influence on the scope of data collected by Facebook with the aid of this Plugin and therefore informs users as follows in accordance with the Supplier's state of knowledge:

By embedding the Plugin Facebook is sent the information that a user has opened the relevant page of the Offering. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to the user's Facebook account. If a user interacts with the Plugins, for instance by clicking on the Like button or adding a comment, the user's browser directly transmits that information to Facebook where the information is stored. If the user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook can identify and store the user's IP address. According to Facebook only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and utilisation of data by Facebook as well as the associated rights and settings to protect the user's privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy statements: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a member of Facebook and does not want Facebook to collect data about the user via this Offering and link this to the user's member data stored in Facebook, the user will have to log out of Facebook before visiting the Offering website.

It is also possible to block Facebook Social Plugins with browser add-ons, for instance with the "Facebook Blocker".

Cancellations, changes, corrections and updates

The user is entitled to obtain information about stored personal data about the user free of charge. In addition the user has the right to correct incorrect data as well as to block and delete personal data provided that this does not conflict with any statutory record-keeping obligation.
